Rooms turned before the coach arrives.

A hotel measures the morning in rooms turned before check-in. Housekeeping runs against a fixed time, the front desk needs to know the state of every room, and the brand audit will ask for proof. Moonfoos runs that morning: the state of every room visible to the desk, the supervisor and the floor at the same moment — with the hours, the payroll and the invoice falling out of the same record.

Why hotel cleaning teams choose Moonfoos

Room status, live

Departure, in progress, inspected, ready. The front desk stops ringing housekeeping to ask what is done, because it can see it.

Credits by load, not by habit

Allocate rooms by type and occupancy, so the section with three suites and the section with twelve doubles are not treated as the same morning’s work.

Evidence for the brand audit

Inspections, photos and timings build the record as the shift runs, so a brand standard visit is answered from the system rather than the filing cabinet.

The morning, run

Housekeeping against the checkout time

The plan is built around the fixed checkout, and the state of every room updates as the work happens.

Maintenance before the complaint

A shower that will not drain is logged from the room in ten seconds, routed to the right trade, and held against the room until it is signed off.

The round, on the record

Every room, every check, time-stamped — the morning is provable, not just claimed.

The rooms, and the contract that runs them.

The same record that turns the rooms also runs the contract: the hours feed the payroll, the completed visits feed the invoice, and the client — the hotel or the operator — sees the proof per room and per day. One record, from the floor to the invoice.

Payroll that complies

Evening shifts, weekends and public holidays carry their rates automatically.

Invoicing at completion

The client is billed for the rooms that were actually turned.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Does it work with our PMS?

Moonfoos runs the operation alongside your PMS rather than inside it: room status, housekeeping progress and the whole on-site record are Moonfoos’, and the PMS keeps doing what it does. Which systems we connect to is something we would rather confirm property by property than list on a page and qualify later — tell us what you run on the demo and we will tell you exactly where that stands.

Can the front desk see room status?

Yes, and that is most of the point. Departure, in progress, inspected, ready — the desk, the supervisor and the floor read the same state at the same moment, so nobody is ringing housekeeping to ask what is done. A room that has been cleaned but not yet inspected does not read as ready.

How does it handle brand-standard inspections?

The brand standard becomes a checklist that runs on the phone, so “done” means the same thing on every property and every shift. Inspections, photos and timings are filed against the room as the morning runs, which is what turns a brand audit from a week of assembling evidence into a lookup.

What about multi-property groups?

The portfolio is planned as one, with each property’s own shape respected — its floors, its room mix, its checkout times. Standards are written once at group level and applied everywhere, while margin and completion stay visible per property. A gap at one hotel can be seen against the others rather than handled in isolation.
