By role
Payslip input, not payslip archaeology.
HR and payroll in a cleaning company is a monthly reconstruction: hours from paper, rates from memory, a week of checking before the file goes out. Moonfoos turns it into a review — the timesheets are generated from the on-site clock-ins, tagged by shift type, and the collective-agreement rates are already applied. You check a file that is already compliant.
HR & payroll
What HR and payroll get
The timesheet is the source
Payroll starts from the on-site clock-in, not a retyped timesheet. The hour that was worked is the hour that is paid.
Rates by shift type, automatic
Day, evening, weekend, public holiday — every rate is applied as the hour is recorded.
Compliance configured once
Set the collective-agreement rates once and they are enforced on every timesheet.
A review, not a rebuild.
By month-end, the timesheets already exist — generated from the clock-ins, tagged by shift type, rates applied. HR’s job is to review the file, not to build it. The week that used to be reconstruction becomes a day of checking.
Tagged as it happens
Every hour is classified — day, evening, weekend, holiday — at the moment it is recorded.
Payslip input, clean
The output is the compliant input your payroll platform needs. Moonfoos hands over data; it does not replace your payroll system.
The people side
Onboarding, off paper
Digital checklists carry the contract, the policies and the site induction, and tick themselves off as each part is read — in the worker’s language.
Contracts and leave, in-system
Contracts, benefits and policy acknowledgements are issued and recorded through the system; leave is requested in the app and the rota updates around it.
The worker’s transparency
The worker sees the hours that feed their pay — the same record HR sees. Transparency is what stops the disputes.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Does Moonfoos replace my payroll platform?
No. Moonfoos produces the compliant input your payroll platform needs — hours by day and by shift type, with the rates already applied — and hands it over. Payroll software changes slowly and is often tied to an accountant or a provider; the thing worth fixing is what goes into it, which is the part that is currently retyped.
Which collective agreements are supported?
The rates, premiums and shift rules are configured per contract, from the agreement that contract falls under, rather than being fixed to a list we would have to keep current on this page. Tell us which agreement you work under and we will tell you exactly where that stands — that conversation belongs in the demo, not in a footnote here.
Can HR edit a timesheet?
Yes, because real weeks contain corrections — a missed clock-out, a shift that ran long, a mistake at the site. What matters is that the edit is an amendment to a record that already exists, made by a named person and kept as part of the history, rather than a figure typed onto a blank sheet with nothing behind it.
How is leave handled?
It is requested in the worker app and approved in the system, and the rota updates around the approved absence — so the plan and the record agree, and the worker sees the change before the shift rather than after it. Balances and entitlements are held against the person, which is the same place the hours are, so leave and pay never need reconciling against each other.
